I cannot adequately express to you how excited I am about the AH Inspired workshop I attended last Saturday!  Myself and 18 other budding and established creative women entrepreneurs gathered in downtown Nashville to soak in the knowledge, advice and inspiration given by five fabulous & successful women:

Kelle Boyd : Textile & Stationery Designer, Licensing Wizard

Sara Rose : Photographer, Fountain of Encouragement

Jessica Bishop : Blogger, Stylist, Budget Queen

Courtney Dial (soon to be Whitmore) : Blogger, Author, Social Media Maven

There wasn’t a single topic covered that I didn’t benefit from.  They discussed facing our fears, marketing and branding tips, balancing our work and home life, social media strategies, public relations pointers and many other things they wish they had known in the beginning.  I was particularly inspired by each of their personal journeys.  I’m so thankful Amber provided us with these awesome notebooks so I could take (furiously scribbled) notes!  (I love the quote on the front!)

At the end of the day I felt reassured that Quad Deuce Design is off to a great start.  I am now armed with the right knowledge to take this design studio to the next level.  But most importantly, I left the building with a new network of friends, fellow creative entrepreneurs, all of us with gigantic dreams.

I decided to start living the life I always imagined.  I am turning my can’ts into cans, and my dreams into plans.  I took the leap, and I’m growing my wings on the way down.
